WT-102 is a class A flame resistant coating
Approved by the CA state Fire Marshal as a fire retardant
Flameproof birch, MDF, luan, pine, douglas fir, drywall, gypsum
WT-102 Class A or B intumescent, flat, latex based fireproof paint for wood and other surfaces. This unique, non-toxic formula creates a safe and effective flame-seal barrier on wood surfaces that snuffs out fire before it can ignite. Unlike competitor products, WT-102 has excellent adhesion abilities. In addition, WT-102 is fully registered and approved by the CA State Fire Marshal as an interior intumescent coating. When applied to wood, this product meets a variety of fire codes such as CA Title 19, ASTM E84, NFPA 255, UL 723, British Standard 5867 and 476, UBC 42-1 and many others. For over 45 years, WT-102 has been trusted and recommended by Fire Marshals, Scenic Painters, Set Designers, Prop Makers, Contractors and Builders.
Suitable for application on birch, MDF, lauan, pine, Douglas fir, dry wall, gypsum and muslin, cotton fabric
Class A coverage on wood is 125 sq. ft./gallon, or 1 coat of 13 mil - 16 mil
Comes in either black, white or color base for tinting bold, dark or bright colors using liquid tint and dries flat
