We've located a new source for these hard to find replacement handles.  These are brown leather handles with attaching hardware to replace the handle on a Bach Stradivarius trumpet or cornet case.  There is metal reinforcement inside the leather.  These will also fit trombone cases and other instrument cases that use a D ring or similar connection. There were a few slight variations over the years, but one of these two sizes will be a good replacement for any Bach cases.  One size measures 5-3/4 inches and the other size is 6-1/2 inches.  Both handles are a lighter brown than some we've had in the past.  The colors varied on the originals, so your original may be darker than these, but they still look good on the dark brown traditional Bach case.   These measurements are only the length of the leather handle.  Use a pair of pliers to open up the rings on your existing case and either reuse the old rings or install the new ones that are supplied with this handle.
The style of leather handle varied a little over the years, but one of these should be a good size or color fit for any Stradivarius case from the Mount Vernon era up until the mid 1980's.  There is enough play within the connecting rings that either handle will work on most cases.
